Worship
Worship is an integral part of our Sunday morning experience. It helps to center us, and inspires us as we grow deeper in our relationship with God. At First Presbyterian Church, we worship in both traditional and contemporary contexts combined with thought provoking and faith challenging messages that relate scripture to real life and the ever changing world around us.
We then go forward into the world to share the good news of God's love and grace with our neighborhoods, throughout the community, and beyond.
YOU are welcome here

Holy Communion
We celebrate The Lord's Supper (or Communion) on the first Sunday of each month and various other times throughout the year.
All are invited to Christ's table to receive Communion - we do not restrict access to this sacrament. Ours is an "open table." At their parents' discretion, children may receive the bread and cup or come forward for a blessing.
We also offer Home Bound Communion on a regular basis to those unable to join us in person for worship services.

Children
Children are welcome and encouraged to worship with their families and are invited to participate in all aspects of the service. Worship is central to our faith and is a time of witness and celebration that is meant for ALL of God's children - young and old alike. Sharing our worship time with children is an important part of our journey together in faith.

Music
The music in our worship is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary anthems.
During the school year, we are blessed to have our Choir and Handbell Choir sharing during worship.
Visit our Music Ministry Page to learn more about how to become involved in music ministry, or to share your musical gifts at FPC.

Sunday Replay
"We are called not only to be a place of welcome and inclusion, but also to find ways to let people know that such a place exists. There are so many people who need a loving community, a place of belonging, a place of spiritual nurture, a place where they can be themselves"
~Rev. Kathy Reid Walker
